A new study released by Security Scorecard grades various industries and government on their cybersecurity efforts. Some do better than others, but we wish that all industries and governments would take cybersecurity more seriously and develop better protections.

Mac Malware

Yes, Windows has a much larger User and Device base than Apple, therefore many malicious people write lots of malicious code for it.

Apple Users tend to think they are in the clear, however this is not exactly the case

We recommend a robust Security software be installed on your Device, no matter the type or brand of Device. While this will not protect everyone 100%, it is the best choice we have at this time and until malicious people start diverting their energies in to more positive and helpful areas.

Healthcare Data + Important Medical Discoveries

A very interesting read regarding the accumulation and use of Healthcare Data. As data collection and analytics progress, will we (or will Artificial Intelligence) be able to correlate information and discover cures that have eluded us thus far?

Will the patient data used still belong to the Patient? Will it become public in some way to help with the greater good? If so, what kinds of controls will there be in place to protect it?
