Yes, Windows has a much larger User and Device base than Apple, therefore many malicious people write lots of malicious code for it.

Apple Users tend to think they are in the clear, however this is not exactly the case

We recommend a robust Security software be installed on your Device, no matter the type or brand of Device. While this will not protect everyone 100%, it is the best choice we have at this time and until malicious people start diverting their energies in to more positive and helpful areas.

Do you use strong passwords? Do you keep them the same for long periods of time? Do you use the same password across different apps and websites? If so, you may want to change your tactics…and your passwords!

Passwords should be as long as possible, with a mix of upper case and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters (as allowed by the application). And they should be unique for each application and they should be changed regularly.
